The 8th Annual Rie Bloomfield Organ Series Organ Day will be held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, in Wiedemann Hall on the Marcussen organ. Admission is free. This will be an exceptional event with two musicians, organists and an organ-builder from France. They will give a unique view of the French organ throughout the centuries -- in sound and in pictures, by Bertrand Cattiaux -- and a special look at the Parisian church of St. Merry and its glorious musical and instrumental past in a recital by Stephane Bechy.
