Blackboard has alerted us that they will perform infrastructure maintenance at the datacenter that houses some of our Blackboard Learn services from 11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, to 5 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31.

During the maintenance window, Blackboard email services will not function. Email and messaging tools in Blackboard will appear to be available, but messages sent through blackboard will not be delivered, and they will not be queued for later delivery.

This means that messages sent between 11 p.m.-5 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, will not be delivered. Please be sure to send any messages through blackboard either before the maintenance window opens or after it closes.

This maintenance will have no impact on university email not sent via Blackboard. Email sent through other sources will be delivered normally.
