* The Office of Research and Technology Transfer's upcoming deadline for award for research/creative projects is 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6. Applications are being accepted for the award for research/creative projects to enable faculty to pursue research or creative projects during the summer. * The Tilford Commission on Diversity welcomes proposals from instructors interested in developing a new diversity-related course or in modifying an existing course to enhance its diversity content. * Save the date for the 2nd Annual Kansas Gender and Sexuality Conference Friday, April 3, at Wichita State, with keynote speaker Robyn Ochs. To submit an abstract (200-300 words) for presentation, go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3567. Submissions are due by Wednesday, Feb. 18. The conference is sponsored by the Department of Sociology and the Shocker SOC Club.
* The Center for Entrepreneurship is offering the program "Happiness Matters: Creating a Culture for Business to Thrive," from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, in 212 Devlin Hall.
