Reminders

* The Latina Interest Association meets at 6 p.m. every Thursday in 256 RSC. LAT.IN.A (Latina Interest Association) is an organization that was formed last semester with the goal to eventually charter a Latina sorority on campus. We focus on serving the community, empowering and unifying our women and helping them succeed. Everyone interested is welcome to join our meetings.

* If you need help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Office of Financial Aid is here to help. Throughout February, the Office of Financial Aid will host a series of open lab times for students to receive one-on-one assistance with their FAFSA. Wichita State's priority date for the 2015-16 FAFSA is Sunday, March 1. Early FAFSA applicants are given priority consideration for additional financial resources. * Join the Career Development Center for Co-op & Internship Enrollment Day from 9 a.m.-noon today (Thursday, Feb. 5) in 233 RSC. There's walk-in enrollment for students currently employed in a field directly related to their major.

* Don't forget to log into your myWSU portal under student tools to cast your vote for Homecoming Royalty Court. Voting ends Friday, Feb. 6, so vote every day to make sure your favorite senior makes it to Homecoming Royalty.

* The Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) invites you to register for the 7th Annual Culture-N-Movement show by Monday, Feb. 9. The show will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, in the CAC Theater. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3589 for more information about ODI events.

* The women's basketball team will host Missouri State at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, in Charles Koch Arena. Students with a WSU ID can get in free starting one hour before women's home games.

* Shocker Racing Formula SAE invites everyone to the spring 2015 new member meeting at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, in 123 Wallace Hall, or contact Scott Banman at scottabanman@gmail.com.

* Design, build and race an off-road vehicle with Baja SAE. We travel around the United States to compete with schools in and out of the country. Learn how to design in 3D CAD software, how to weld, how to use CNC Machining, how to do composite layups and how to be part of an engineering project team.
