Reminders

* If you need help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Office of Financial Aid is here to help. This month, the Office of Financial Aid will host a series of open lab times for students to receive one-on-one assistance with their FAFSA. Wichita State's priority date for the 2015-16 FAFSA is Sunday, March 1. Early FAFSA applicants are given priority consideration for additional financial resources. * Take a few minutes making a Valentine's Day card for the Children's Miracle Network from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, in the the RSC north entrance. SAC will host a Valentine's card-making station so you can spread the love. This is a great opportunity to send another reminder to the children that they are loved this Valentine's Day. The cards will be brought to them for Valentine's Day.

* The Metroplex shuttle route will run an hour later Wednesday night Feb. 11, for the men's Shocker basketball game. Basketball parking information is available at http://bit.ly/1tLQUXN

* Student Support Services (SSS) is a federal TRIO program providing free academic services such as tutoring, academic advising, textbook lending, computer lab with free printing, study skills and financial literacy development, among others. To qualify for SSS, students need to be first-generation students, and/or have limited income. * If you've ever thought about becoming a dentist, come to the next Pre-Dental Student Association general meeting from 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, in the Shocker 70 room on the second floor of the RSC.
