Civic Leadership and Service Summit

Are you a student that is interested in giving back to the community? Do you have a passion for helping others? The Civic Leadership and Service Summit is for you.Join us from noon-5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, for an amazing experience that was created for students who are interested in service, leadership and making a positive impact.

The summit will include a keynote panel of Wichita community leaders discussing the importance of service and the impact service has had on their lives. Also, students can select breakout sessions from topics such as Service and Your Resume, Socially Responsible Leadership, Americorps: Vista Service Opportunities, and Service-Learning and the Classroom. Finally, students will go out into the Wichita community to make a difference with volunteer projects at Rainbows United and the Museum of World Treasures.

Lunch, transportation to and from service sites and all program materials are free to students who register. You must be able to attend the entire length of the program. This program is limited to 50 student leaders, so register today to ensure your participation.
