* The next Biological Sciences spring seminar will feature Yingjie Yu, internal medicine at Wayne State University. He will speak from 4-5 p.m. today (Monday, Feb. 16) in 218 Hubbard Hall. Yu's topic is "Overcoming chemo-resistance in colorectal cancer by targeting cancer stem cells with microRNAs."

* Todd Ramsey, chief strategist for ApplesAndArrows, will present "Happiness Matters: Creating a Culture for Business to Thrive," from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, in Devlin Hall. * The Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes is forming a short-season fun bowling league for faculty and staff at 5:30 p.m. Thursdays from Feb. 26-April 28, skipping spring break. * Student Support Services is a federal TRIO program that provides free academic services to students who are first-generation (neither parent has received a four-year degree) and/or have limited income.
