Wichita Medical Research and Education Foundation announced recently the awardees of the newly developed WMREF Collaborative Investigator Initiated Research (CIIR) program through the foundation. The CIIR program was developed to enhance research in Wichita by requiring that the application comes from investigators at Wichita State University and University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita together.
