Reminders

* The Office of Financial Aid will host a series of open lab times for students to receive one-on-one assistance with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Every Tuesday in February from 1:30-3:30 p.m., financial aid staff will be available in 429B Lindquist Hall to help students complete the 2015-16 FAFSA. Additional evening workshops are available from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, and Thursday, Feb. 19, in 124 Jabara Hall. Students and parents are encouraged to attend. No RSVP is necessary. WSU's priority date for the 2015-16 FAFSA is March 1. Early FAFSA applicants are given priority consideration for additional financial resources. * The Applied Technology Acceleration Institute (ATAI) is hosting the NetApp and WSU Colloquium Series at 5:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Feb. 17) in Beggs Hall lobby. * The spring Chemistry Colloquium continues at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, in 224 McKinley Hall. Terry Bowlin from Microbiotix Inc., will present "Methylenecyclopropane Nucleoside (MCPN) Analogs as Broad Spectrum Anti-Herpes Agents."

* The University Police Department will host a van training class at 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26. This four-hour session at the Police Building is a requirement for those who wish to drive a 12-passenger van. Interested persons should contact edwin.catlin@wichita.edu to be placed on the list. Please include your full name, driver's license number and state, along with your myWSU ID number.

* Nominations are being accepted for the President's Award for Distinguished Service for Unclassified Professionals. Nominees should have provided exemplary, dedicated and caring
service to WSU beyond the normal expectations and responsibilities of their position, and must have a .5 or greater appointment as an Unclassified Professional. * Looking for meeting space with ample parking? The WSU Hughes Metropolitan Complex, located just north of campus at 29th St. N. and Oliver, can meet your needs.
