* The spring Chemistry Colloquium continues at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 18) in 224 McKinley Hall. Terry Bowlin from Microbiotix Inc., will present "Methylenecyclopropane Nucleoside (MCPN) Analogs as Broad Spectrum Anti-Herpes Agents."

* The WSU GreenGroup is meeting at 4:05 p.m. each Wednesday in 115 Geology Building. All are welcome. Help plan for Earth Day.

* Every year, the KU School of Medicine-Wichita holds a Research Forum for students, residents and faculty, and anyone interested in community health and medical research, to present and discuss research projects and facilitate research collaboration. This year's conference is on Wednesday, April 29. WSU faculty are welcome to submit research for consideration. The deadline for abstract submission is Tuesday, April 7. * Nominations are being accepted for the President's Award for Distinguished Service for Unclassified Professionals. Nominees should have provided exemplary, dedicated and caring
service to WSU beyond the normal expectations and responsibilities of their position, and must have a .5 or greater appointment as an Unclassified Professional.
