* Students with innovative ideas are invited to enter the Shocker New Venture Competition, hosted by the Center for Entrepreneurship, for an opportunity to compete for more than $30,000 in prizes. The deadline is Friday, Feb. 27. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/SNVC for more information.

* Register as a student judge for the 2015 Shocker New Venture Competition. Evaluate and "invest" $10,000 in Shocker Dollars on the business concepts that are most likely to succeed in the marketplace. * Student Involvement and Cadman Art Gallery are looking for a new student assistant who can work 9-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, and 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. To be eligible, you must be able to work all seven hours and work-study is preferred. The job will require the monitoring of the gallery, equipment management and small administrative tasks. * A representative from WSU's exchange partner, Jonkoping International Business School (JIBS) in Sweden, is visiting Wichita State. International Relations Coordinator Monika Pavlovic will give a short information session about JIBS and an overview about Jonkoping University. Hear about an opportunity to study abroad in Sweden for a summer, semester or full school year from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, in 265 RSC.

* If you need help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Office of Financial Aid is here to help. WSU's priority date for the 2015-16 FAFSA is Sunday, March 1. The Office for Student Money Management (OSMM) has partnered with United Way and the IRS to offer a free online tax-filing program for students, faculty and staff at Wichita State.
