* "Inventing 101: The Nuts and Bolts of Developing and Protecting an Invention" is the topic of the Business Booster Series event from 12:30-3:30 p.m. today (Friday, March 6) in Devlin Hall. * The Lecture Series in the Mathematical Sciences presents WSU professor Chunsheng Ma at 3 p.m. today (Friday, March 6) in 372 Jabara Hall. Ma will present "Multifractional Vector Brownian Motions, Their Decompositions and Generalizations." Refreshments will be available prior to the lecture at 2:30 p.m. in 353 Jabara Hall.

* World famous jazz bass guitar player Victor Lemonte Wooten will perform as part of the Connoisseur Series at 7:30 p.m. today (Friday, March 6) in Miller Concert Hall. For tickets, call 978-3233.

* The Faculty Artist Series Recital will present The Orfeo Trio at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 7, in Wiedemann Hall. Julie Bees (piano), Evgeny Zvonnikov (violin) and Leonid Shukaev (cello) will perform works by Haydn, Brahms, Rachmaninoff and Mendelssohn. * "Leading Adaptively in the University" -- a three-day leadership development program for faculty and staff who are interested in making progress on difficult issues they are facing -- will be held Wednesday-Friday, April 29-May 1. This program operates on the premise that leadership is an activity, not a role or position, and that anyone can exercise leadership anytime, anywhere.
