Calling all chefs and volunteers for Interfest

Many international and American student organizations and other interested groups of students are needed to show off their culinary skills and share their culture through the international language of food at Interfest from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, in Neff Hall courtyard. All you need to do is prepare lots of your favorite food native to your country or heritage and sell it. Sign up by Monday, March 16, at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3657.

Required permits, tables/chairs, dishes/utensils, etc., are provided by International Student Union (ISU) for 15 percent of the total money raised, which will be retained by ISU. ISU will also pay your sales tax if you turn in all the receipts of the cost of items purchased for the event at no extra cost. Please make sure that you sign up for a table under a registered student organization. If you do not have a student organization, you can register under ISU.

If you have questions, contact Marie Yoshimizu at 316-796-4057 or Chris Benson 682-365-3997.

You also can still be a part of InterFest without having to cook. This large event requires a lot of hands from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, April 14. If you are interested in helping out and being rewarded for your efforts, contact Dilanki Terranska at isuvolunteers@gmail.com, and let her know your availability by Monday, March 16.

Please write InterFest Volunteer in the subject line. Send us your full name, phone number, email address and the time you are available to volunteer on Tuesday, April 14.
