* Doctorate and specialist students who are graduating in Spring 2015 Commencement need to contact Julie at the University Bookstore for regalia at 978-7021, by email at bookstore@wichita.edu or come by the bookstore between 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays to find your options. The deadline to make an order is 4 p.m. Friday, March 13. The deadline for rental orders is 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 25. Payment is due when you place an order.
* Many international and American student organizations are needed to demonstrate their culinary skills and share their culture through the international language of food at Interfest from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, in Neff Hall courtyard. * The Shocker baseball team will host Central Arkansas at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, and Arkansas-Little Rock at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, at Eck Stadium. WSU students can pick up free baseball tickets with a WSU ID card at the Eck Stadium ticket office.
* SAC Presents Pokefest 2015 from noon-2 p.m. Thursday, March 12, in 142 RSC. Enjoy activities ranging from a tournament, Pokemon trivia, classic Pokemon Stadium and Snap, and Pokemon buttons. To participate in the tournament, you will need a 3DS and a copy of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, but you can stop by to play with any game to show your true talent.
* The Future Health Care Professionals of the College of Health Professions is hosting a Book Drive now until March 25 in Ahlberg Hall, to benefit WSU's Evelyn Hendren Cassat Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic. New and gently used books may be dropped off in any of the boxes located on each floor by the elevator bank and in 402 Ahlberg Hall. For more information, contact chpadvisor@wichita.edu.
* The student organization Global Faith in Action invites you to sign a petition for renovating Grace Memorial Chapel to an interfaith prayer space open for all. Sign the petition anytime between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. today (Monday, March 9) in the SGA office in 219 RSC. The petition is for a judicial hearing scheduled at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 11. Student Ambassador Society (SAS) is a prestigious volunteer organization made up of WSU students who work closely with the Office of Admissions.
