* The WSU Department of Philosophy Colloquium will feature WSU philosophy instructor James Schwartz, from 3:30-5 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, in 107 McKinley Hall. His presentation is titled, "Why should philosophers care about space exploration?"

* The Tilford Commission on Diversity invites you to a faculty dialogue on "Innovative Teaching of Challenging Topics" at 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, in 233 RSC. Marche Fleming-Randle, Stacey Mann and Brian Rawson will discuss the challenges of introducing diversity issues in diverse, or not so diverse, classrooms. * "Leading Adaptively in the University" -- a three-day leadership development program for faculty and staff who are interested in making progress on difficult issues they are facing -- will be held Wednesday-Friday, April 29-May 1. This program operates on the premise that leadership is an activity, not a role or position, and that anyone can exercise leadership anytime, anywhere. * Every year, the KU School of Medicine-Wichita holds its Research Forum for students, residents, faculty and anyone interested in community health and medical research, to present and discuss research projects and facilitate research collaboration. This year's conference is Wednesday, April 29. WSU faculty are welcome to submit research for consideration. The deadline for abstract submission is Tuesday, April 7.
