* SAC Presents Pokefest 2015 from noon-2 p.m. today (Thursday, March 12) in 142 RSC. Activities range from a tournament, Pokemon trivia, classic Pokemon Stadium and Snap, and Pokemon buttons. To participate, you will need a 3DS and a copy of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, but you can stop by to play with any game to show your true talent.
* From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Thursday, March 12) the Panhellenic Council will have an information table on the RSC north patio. Stop by to decorate a bra for $5 and be entered into a bra decorating contest for a $25 VISA gift card. You can also decorate a heart for a recommended donation of $1 to honor someone you know who has been affected by breast cancer. All proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
* The WSU Symphony will perform Gustav Holst's "The Planets," a masterwork from the early twentieth century, at 5:30 p.m. today (Thursday, March 12) in Miller Concert Hall. Free admission for WSU students with ID.
* WSU encourages undergraduate students to participate in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). NSSE helps WSU understand how students are spending time in and out of the classroom, which guides decisions that will benefit them. Students will receive email messages with a link to the online survey asking for participation. In appreciation for participating, WSU will enter all students in a drawing for a chance to receive a QuikTrip card. * Wichita eSports presents its inaugural Wichita eSports Convention from Monday, March 16-Thursday, March 19, on the third floor of the RSC. Join us for four days of tournaments, including League of Legends, Star Craft II, Magic the Gathering and Super Smash Bros Wii U, speakers, events and prizes. The deadline to make an order is 4 p.m. Friday, March 13. The deadline for rental orders is 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 25. Payment is due when you place an order.
* Meet some awesome Stubblefield Society members at the spring semester Museum Hop. On Saturday, March 28, we will take a party bus to Botanica Gardens, Mid-America All Indian Center and Old Cowtown Museum. Get outside, celebrate the changing seasons and explore the local community. Meet at KMUW-Wichita Public Radio at 12:30 p.m. to attend.
