* Throughout the spring, WSU President John Bardo with Provost and Senior Vice President Tony Vizzini will host a series of informal, one-hour discussions about the role of innovation in a variety of subject areas and disciplines. * Registration for the 2015 Gender & Sexuality in Kansas conference to be held Friday, April 3, in WSU's Marcus Welcome Center is now open. The conference is free and open to students, faculty, staff and interested community members in Kansas. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3678 for more information and to register.

* Construction will begin today (Monday, March 16) to replace the north entry stairs, ramp and vestibule at Clinton Hall. This project will provide a much needed improvement to accessibility and safety for the building occupants. The north doors will be closed throughout the project and entry to the building will be limited to the south doors. The east and west stairway doors will continue to remain available for exiting. Pedestrian traffic will be routed around construction fencing to the north of the building. Construction is anticipated to be completed in July.

* The University Bookstore is taking orders for faculty and staff who need regalia for Spring 2015 Commencement. The deadline to rent regalia is 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 25. Call Julie at 978-7021 or email her at bookstore@wichita.edu to place your order. If you have any questions, come by the bookstore between 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays. Payment is due at the time you place an order.

* The Tilford Commission on Diversity welcomes proposals from instructors interested in developing a new diversity-related course or in modifying an existing course to enhance its diversity content. Award recipients will receive a stipend of up to $4,000, and serve as Fellows of the Tilford Commission on Diversity for the 2015-16 academic year. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3582 for details.

* Grading for spring 2015 first eight-week courses are due by 10 p.m. Thursday, March 19. Faculty can access the Banner grading form via the Teach/Advise tab in the myWSU portal. Grades for any spring class officially ending by Saturday, March 14, can be entered. Questions about grading can be directed to the Office of the Registrar at 978-3090.
