The next meeting of the Inventors Association of South Central Kansas (IASCK) will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 23, in 262 RSC, and will feature a presentation by WSU Associate Professor Emeritus Nan Myers, a specialist in intellectual property who has worked with patent searching and the patent process for the past 20 years. She will focus on the 7-Step Strategy for Patent Searching, the new classification system being used by the U.S. Patent Office and an overview of the free patents databases available via the Internet.
