* Kristie Ogilvie, a candidate for dean of the Barton School of Business will make a presentation for faculty, staff and the business community at 3:30 p.m. today (Monday, March 23) in 107 Clinton Hall. Ogilvie is dean of the School of Business at Emporia State University.

* Brian Ackley from the University of Kansas will present "Mind the gap: how calcium signaling pathways regulate synapses," as part of the Biological Sciences Spring Seminar schedule from 4-5 p.m. today (Monday, March 23) in 218 Hubbard Hall.

* The WSU Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association is holding a bake sale from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, outside between Ablah Hall and Lindquist Hall. Please stop by to help support our student organization and to enjoy some delicious treats.

* The annual WSU Pre-Retirement Planning Seminar is full. You may, however, still apply to be on the waiting list at http://www.wichita.edu/retirementseminar. * The University Bookstore is taking orders for faculty and staff who need regalia for Spring 2015 Commencement. The deadline to rent regalia is 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 25. Call Julie at 978-7021 or email her at bookstore@wichita.edu to place an order. If you have any questions, come by the bookstore between 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays. Payment is due at the time you place an order.

* Don Cary, CEO of All Things BBQ, will be the featured speaker at the Entrepreneurship Forum Series at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 26, in 107 Devlin Hall. A reception will follow. Admission is free.

* The Office of Transitions and Orientation is seeking Faculty Fellows to be part of the orientation process for new students at WSU. Faculty Fellows will work closely with the undergraduate Transition Mentors and the transitions and orientation staff to provide a welcoming atmosphere during orientation, while communicating college classroom expectations.
