* Have you ever been interested in hypnosis? Audience participation is highly encouraged in this exciting, fast-paced show. Watch Dale K's award-winning performance as he shows you how powerful one's imagination can truly be. Join Student Activities Council in the CAC Theater at 8 p.m. Friday, March 27. This event is free for students with WSU ID and $5 for nonstudents.
* Pi Gamma Mu, the International Honor Society in Social Sciences, will hold its initiation ceremony of the Kansas Lambda Chapter featuring a guest speaker from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 27, in 142 RSC.
* The Wichita State tennis teams will host matches at the Coleman Tennis Complex on Saturday, March 28. The women will play Missouri State at 8 a.m. and Kansas State at 1 p.m. The men will play Creighton at 11 a.m. and Newman at 4 p.m. Free pizza will be available to all fans starting at 12:30 p.m.
* The WSU softball team will host Drake at noon and 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28, and noon Sunday, March 29, at Wilkins Stadium. Students can pick up free softball tickets with a WSU ID card at Wilkins Stadium.
* Are you an amateur treasure hunter or a sculpture aficionado? Then join the Stubblefield Society and Ulrich Museum for the 2nd Annual Amusing Race on Wednesday, April 1. You and three teammates will roam the WSU campus to solve riddles and compete in wacky challenges. After you work up an appetite, enjoy pizza and prizes at the finish line. * WSU, in partnership with Wichita Parks and Recreation, will present a Community Self-Defense Workshop from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Lynette Woodard Recreation Center. Registration is free, but participants must reserve their place by calling 688-9392 or sending an email to ataber@wichita.gov.
