Reminders

* Do you have Islamophobia? What is your perception of Islam and does the media play into the misconceptions of Islam? Join the Office of International Education and the Muslim Student Association as we address Islamophobia from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 25) in 142 RSC. Bring your lunch and an appetite for discussion.

* This week's Physics Seminar Series features recent graduate William Thorne, who now works for Bombardier. Thorne will present "Modeling electric energy in a house with renewable and stored energy," at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 25) in 128 Jabara Hall.

* Stop by the RSC's Fastbreak Lounge from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 25) to hear live music from Michael Engdahl Jazz Trio. Grab your favorite Starbucks drink and relax to some tunes.

* The Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs presents Public Finance in the Czech Republic at 6:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 25) in 301 RSC. Learn about the Czech Republic's political and budgetary environment from Eliska Pastuszkova, head of the Department of Finance and Accounting at Tomas Bata University in Zlin, Czech Republic. Admission is free.

* Because of the NCAA Tournament, this week's mini innovation town halls hosted by WSU President John Bardo and Provost and Senior Vice President Tony Vizzini have been rescheduled. "Globalization, Diversity & Cultural Engagement" has moved to 2-3 p.m. Monday, May 11, in 262 RSC, and "Innovative Design" has moved to 8:15-9:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, in 266 RSC. * The University Bookstore and other campus departments will host a Grad Fair from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 25) with all the information you need as graduation day approaches. It will take place on the first floor of the RSC, near the east entrance. You'll find everything from regalia to announcements to WSU class rings.

* Applications for University Research/Creative Projects (URCA) are due to the Office of Research and Technology Transfer by 5 p.m. Friday, April 3. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3682 for more information.

* The University Bookstore is taking orders for faculty and staff who need regalia for Spring 2015 Commencement. The deadline to rent regalia is 4 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 25). Call Julie at 978-7021 or email her at bookstore@wichita.edu to place an order.
