As severe weather season approaches, people may be under the impression that Earth experiences some extreme weather. We haven't seen anything yet. Wait until you learn what the weather is like on some of the other planets in our solar system.

Visitors to the Lake Afton Public Observatory will observe the Moon, Venus, and Jupiter or Saturn through a large telescope and hear a typical weather forecast for that object during the program "Planetary Weather." The program will be presented on Friday and Saturday evenings, April 3-4 and 24-25; May 1-2, 22-23 and 29-30; and June 19-20 and 26-27.

Lake Afton Public Observatory is operated by the Fairmount Center for Science and Mathematics Education, part of the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Science at Wichita State University.
