* The Lecture Series in the Mathematical Sciences presents professor John Sylvester from the University of Washington in a presentation at 3 p.m. today (Friday, March 27) in 372 Jabara Hall. Sylvester's lecture is titled "Non-Evanescent Waves and the Inverse Source Problem." Come for refreshments prior to the lecture at 2:30 p.m. in 353 Jabara Hall.

* The Tilford Commission on Diversity will host a faculty dialogue on "Innovative Teaching of Challenging Topics," at 12:30 p.m. today (Friday, March 27) in 233 RSC. Lunch will be provided for those who submitted an RSVP.

* The WSU Summer 2015 Financial Aid Application is available at mywsu.wichita.edu under the "myFinances" tab and then under "Financial Aid Links." If you plan on attending classes this summer and have not yet completed the 2014-15 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you should do so immediately at http://www.fafsa.gov. The priority date for the summer 2015 Financial Aid Application is May 1. Join Student Activities Council in the CAC Theater at 8 p.m. today (Friday, March 27). This event is free for students with WSU ID and $5 for nonstudents.

* Kemal Nuraydin, professional photographer, writer and former deputy editor of National Geographic Magazine, Turkish Edition, will present "The Last Nomads of Turkey," at 7 p.m. Friday, April 3, in 100 Lindquist Hall. A reception prior to the lecture will be held at 6 p.m. in the lower level of Ablah Library. The photography exhibit will run from April 3-May 10 in the first floor corridor of Ablah Library. Admission is free. The talk is part of the David and Sally Jackman Scholarly Lecture Series in the Department of Anthropology, Lowell D. Holmes Museum of Anthropology and WSU Library Associates.
