* The Colloquium Series will host the final event for this year at 6 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 31) in Beggs Hall lobby with a panel of industry experts discussing "Cloud & Big Data." * The Council of University Women invites you to a fiesta from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, in the Shirley Beggs Ballroom on the third floor of the RSC. Tickets are $11.50 for the meal and can be purchased from any CUW member or by emailing cuw@wichita.edu. Meal tickets will be on sale through Wednesday, April 1, with a very limited quantity available at the door. Entry into the event is free.

* The next Physics Seminar will feature professor John Harton from Colorado State University from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, in 128 Jabara Hall. Harton will present "Dark matter and the DRIFT directional dark matter experiment."

* Samuel Bouyain from UMKC will present "Contactin/protein tyrosine phosphatase complexes in the nervous system," at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, in 224 Mckinley Hall. The presentation is part of the Chemistry Colloquium.
