* Upcoming Limited Submission -- WSU is limited on the number of submissions for the National Science Foundation Research Traineeship Program, which contains a Traineeship Track and an Innovations in Graduate Education Track. If you are interested in applying to this program, you must notify the Office of Research and Technology Transfer of your interest in a specific track by 5 p.m. Friday, April 10, via proposals@wichita.edu.

* The deadline for abstract submissions to the KU Research Forum is approaching fast. Registration for the forum is open, and the deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 15. Those who submit a poster are not automatically registered. Registration is not required to attend the forum, but is strongly advised to get an appropriate count for space, materials and lunch. * Kemal Nuraydin, professional photographer, writer and former deputy editor of National Geographic Magazine, Turkish Edition, will present "The Last Nomads of Turkey," at 7 p.m. Friday, April 3, in 100 Lindquist Hall. A reception prior to the lecture will be held at 6 p.m. in the lower level of Ablah Library. The photography exhibit will run April 3-May 10 in the first floor corridor of Ablah Library. Admission is free. The talk is part of the David and Sally Jackman Scholarly Lecture Series in the Department of Anthropology, Lowell D. Holmes Museum of Anthropology and WSU Library Associates.

* The Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Forum is Tuesday, April 7, at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex. Undergraduate students will present their research and creative works at the event.
