Reminders

* "Mindfulness and how it can help you" is the next Words for Wellness presentation by the Counseling and Testing Center from noon-12:30 p.m. today (Monday, April 6) in 142 RSC. Light refreshments will be provided. Learn how beginning your own mindfulness practice can reduce your stress and improve your university experience.

* The Biological Spring Seminar continues with a presentation by Bryan Foster from the University of Kansas from 4-5 p.m. today (Monday, April 6) in 218 Hubbard Hall. Foster will present "Long-term studies of ecological succession, community assembly and restoration in the context of global change."

* Everyone has intellectual property. At a workshop at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 9, in 266 RSC, WSU Ventures staff Becky Hundley and Cindy Claycomb and attorney Crissa Cook will help you determine what to do with yours. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3702 for more information.

* The deadline for abstract submissions to the KU Research Forum is approaching fast. Registration for the forum is open and the deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 15. Those who submit a poster are not automatically registered. Registration is not required to attend the forum, but is strongly advised to get an appropriate count for space, materials and lunch. * Student Activities Council is coordinating the spring 2015 edition of Finals Frenzy -- events intended to help students relieve the stress of preparing for finals.
