Doctoral student Pernille Palm Johansen from Copenhagen, Denmark, will present "The CopenHeart Sexual Function Trial: Preliminary Data and Experiences," at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, in 256 RSC. Light refreshments will follow at 4:30 p.m. Johansen is collaborating with Elaine Steinke from the School of Nursing on research related to sexuality and cardiac disease. CopenHeart is a comprehensive program of research among a network on international researchers establishing a theoretical basis for rehabilitation of patients with complex cardiac diagnoses. Through this program, models and interventions are developed. Johansen has a special interest in heart disease, rehabilitation and sexuality.
