* The Spring Physics Seminar Series will feature a presentation by Calvin Kalman, professor of physics, Principle College of Science, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 15) in 128 Jabara Hall. Kalman will present "Changing Students' Approach to Learning Physics."

* The next Spring Chemistry Colloquium talk will be held at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 15) in 224 McKinley Hall. Om Prakash of Kansas State University will present "NMR studies of norovirus protease: linking structure to function."

* WSU's School of Performing Arts Dance Program is performing an original experimental dance theater event, "Brave New World," at 7:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 15) to Saturday, April 18, rotating through several locations on the main WSU campus. * Calling all innovators. Revised and condensed Intellectual Property Disclosure Forms are now available on the WSU Ventures website. This is the first step in the development and commercialization of your inventive work. These forms are essential to evaluate the commercial potential of your disclosure, and the path of legal protection that is possible or desirable. * April is Child Abuse Prevention month and in support of that, Latina Interest Association is hosting Blue Week from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. through Friday, April 17, in the RSC. This week is filled with daily events to help raise awareness against child abuse. Help show the community that Shockers care.

* The Spanish Club and Ulrich Museum are having a walking tour of the WSU Sculpture Collection from 11 a.m.-noon Thursday, April 16. Meet at the front doors of the Ulrich Museum of Art.

* The application deadline for summer classes for university employees is April 17. Applications can be faxed, mailed or emailed to shelly.kellogg@wichita.edu for processing.
