Annual Take Back the Night rally and march is scheduled for Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April

The Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center will host its annual Take Back the Night rally and march from 6:30-10 p.m. Friday, April 24, in Fairmount Park. Wichita State will be among those participating in the event, which is free and open to the public. The event will kick off with live music, food and community booths from 6:30-8:00 p.m., followed by a rally and march at 8 p.m. The event will conclude with a survivor circle directly after the march for community members who feel moved to share. Come and show support for survivors and to help raise awareness of the issue of sexual violence in Wichita and Sedgwick County.
