WSU GreenGroup is sponsoring the 7th annual "Earth Fest" on Earth Day, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at the north end of the RSC. There will be music, Zumba dancing, Native American storytelling, an antique 1918 Detroit all-electric car, wild "critters" from Great Plains Nature Center, information tables from many organizations and green vendors with new ideas and products, along with discount coupons for bikers and much, much more.
Cross 21st Street at 1:30 p.m. for the dedication and demonstration of Solar Power and Education Network at University United Methodist Church -- with many activities, entertainment and displays. At 3 p.m., keynote speaker, Wichita City Councilwoman Janet Miller, will speak on "Greening Wichita" in 301 RSC.
