* The 2015 Luzzati lecture will be held at 7 p.m. today (Thursday, April 23) in the CAC Theater. Duane Goossen, senior fellow at the Kansas Center and former Kansas budget director, will address the state's budget situation in the talk "Challenging Financial Times in Kansas." * Human Resources is sponsoring a contest for staff and faculty to win free tickets to see Laverne Cox at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, in the Metropolitan Complex. To enter the giveaway, you must submit answers to an online scavenger hunt about the Tilford Commission website located at wichita.edu/tilford. The deadline to complete the contest is 5 p.m. Monday, April 27.
* In response to President Bardo's desire to position WSU as a regional provider and referral point for workforce training, the Office for Workforce, Professional and Community Education (WPCE) is surveying university colleges and departments to identify all workforce, professional development and community education programs being offered at WSU.
