Summer is just around the corner, and it's time for some fun in the sun. Join Wichita State Shockerthon at the first ever Splash Dash. Shockerthon is hosting a certified 5K and one-mile fun run featuring water-themed games for kids along the route. The 5K starts at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 31, followed by the one-mile fun run at 9:45 a.m. in Sedgwick County Park. The cost is $30 for the 5K and $20 for the fun run. All proceeds benefit the Children's Miracle Network Hospital and helps kids served by Via Christi Children's Hospital in Wichita.
