* Volunteers are needed for a day of service with students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends at Wu's Big Event Saturday, May 2. The day will kick off at 8:30 a.m. with a light breakfast. Volunteers will then be bused to five service sites to participate in volunteer work. Buses will return to the university at 1 p.m. for pizza and reflection. * Student Support Services is a federal TRIO program that provides free academic services such as tutoring, academic advising, textbook lending, computer lab with free printing, study skills and financial literacy development, among others. To qualify, students need to be first-generation students (neither parent has received a four-year degree), and/or have limited income.
