* WSU President John Bardo with Provost and Senior Vice President Tony Vizzini will host an informal one-hour discussion about the role of innovation for students from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, in the Shirley Beggs Ballroom on the third floor of the RSC. * Celebrate the 20th National Championship Title in the Shocker Bowling Program at noon today (Monday, April 27) on the RSC east patio. In case of inclement weather, the celebration will be moved inside to 233 RSC. Join us for cake and help celebrate our Shocker Bowling teams.

* Stop by the University Bookstore's annual Bargain Bonanza sale from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, and Wednesday, April 29, on the RSC east patio. It's the event that the campus and community wait for all year. From apparel to painting supplies and everything in between, we have what you need. Stop by for some great deals.

* Enjoy the art of Chinese calligraphy with lecturer Hsiao-Yu-Chao from 3-5 p.m. today (Monday, April 27) in 233 RSC.

* The Office of Student Success and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion invite you to boot camp to prepare for finals from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, in 262 RSC. In this free workshop, we will share study tips and stress management tips to help you feel at ease when taking your exams. For more information, call 978-3209.

* Transgender advocate Laverne Cox will present "Ain't I a Woman? My Journey to Womanhood," from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex. * Volunteers are needed for a day of service with students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends at Wu's Big Event Saturday, May 2. The day will kick off at 8:30 a.m. with a light breakfast. Volunteers will then be bused to five service sites to participate in volunteer work. Buses will return to the university at 1 p.m. for pizza and reflection. * Student Support Services is a federal TRIO program that provides free academic services such as tutoring, academic advising, textbook lending, computer lab with free printing, study skills and financial literacy development, among others. To qualify, students need to be first-generation students (neither parent has received a four-year degree), and/or have limited income. * The Shocker baseball team will host Oklahoma University at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, at Eck Stadium. Students can pick up free baseball tickets with a WSU ID at Eck Stadium ticket office.
