The WSU Center for Women's Studies and The Monarch are sponsoring the film "Miss Representation," from 7-9 p.m. today (Friday, May 1) at Murdock Theater, 535 N. Broadway. The film is part of the First Friday Alternative Film Series. A suggested donation is $8. The film explores the underrepresentation of women in positions of power and influence in America, and challenges the media's limited portrayal of what it means to be a powerful woman.
