* Welcomefest is a two-week campaign at the beginning of each semester with the intention of welcoming students back to campus. This fall's Welcomefest will take place Aug. 15-29. Register your event now to be included in the Fall 2015 Welcomefest marketing. Fill out the event registration form at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3759 by Tuesday, June 30. * The Coleman Fellows Program at WSU seeks to admit three new faculty fellows for the 2015-16 school year. The program comprises nonbusiness faculty members who are charged to advance entrepreneurship education across campus. Each first-year Coleman Fellowship comes with a $3,500 stipend and paid travel to the Coleman Fellows August 2015 Summit in Chicago. Submit applications by Friday, May 15. * Student Support Services is a federal TRIO program that provides free academic services to first generation students (neither parent has received a four-year degree), and/or to families that have limited incomes. WSU students with these qualifications share many challenges that make it difficult for them to persist in college. Faculty members are encouraged to refer eligible students to Student Support Services in 112 Hubbard Hall to enroll in the program. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/sss for more information.
