It is with mixed emotions that we announce that Walter Horn, professor in aerospace engineering, is retiring after 31 years of dedicated service to students, faculty, the College of Engineering and Wichita State University. Everyone is invited to join us as we honor him in a farewell reception from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, May 15, in Beggs Hall lobby. During his tenure at WSU, Horn has served as interim dean of the College of Engineering, professor and department chair of aerospace engineering, as well as serving on various committees.
