* The student a capella group Shockapella will perform from 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. today (Thursday, May 7) in the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes. Stop by to listen to some tunes.
* The WSU Symphony Orchestra joins forces with two university choruses for the annual Oratorio Concert at 7:30 p.m. today (Thursday, May 7) in Miller Concert Hall. WSU students are eligible for one free ticket (not available online, see http://bit.ly/14iFjSS for details). * Stop by the College of Engineering's 60th annual open house, Friday, May 8, in Wallace Hall, Beggs Hall and the Engineering Building. * The WSU baseball team will host Evansville at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 8; 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9; and 1 p.m. Sunday, May 10, at Eck Stadium. Students can pick up free baseball tickets with a WSU ID at Eck Stadium ticket office.
* The New Member Greek Council will host Play for Parkinson's on Friday, May 8, at Fairmount Park. Join us around noon for a $5 lunch provided by Hog Wild, hear some music and watch members of the Greek community compete on mixed teams in a kickball tournament. * Celebrate the end of the school year with friends and the Wichita Force at Intrust Bank Arena on Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 16 and 23, with a special student discount offer starting at $9. * For noninternational students who purchased the UHCSR Student Health Insurance for the spring 2015 semester and want to have this coverage during the summer, go to https://www.uhcsr.com/wichita and purchase your summer coverage. The open enrollment dates are May 1-June 1. You do not have to enroll in summer courses, but you must have purchased the insurance for the spring semester.
