Wichita Medical Research and Education Foundation has announced a collaborative investigator initiated research funding opportunity for up to two 15,000 one-year research grants. The purpose of this funding program is to provide investigators with short-term funding in the areas of social/behavioral, biological, genetic or environmental determinants of disease and/or health, either physical or mental, across the life span. A special feature is the requirement for documented collaborative partnerships between Wichita State and the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita.
