* Learn about the wealth of resources available to researchers at WSU at a workshop at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 14, in 266 RSC. Representatives from the Center for Community Support and Research, Media Resources Center, WSU Foundation, Information Technology Services and Engineering K-12 Outreach will be available to discuss how they can help you strengthen your applications for research funding. * Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend information sessions with Silicon Valley-based Social Networking Technology (SNT) at noon and 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, in 203 RSC. Refreshments will be provided. Join SNT Chairman Stuart Bruck and Chief Executive Officer Kevin Owens to learn more about how you can engage with SNT.
* Welcomefest is a two-week campaign at the beginning of each semester with the intention of welcoming students back to campus. This fall's Welcomefest will take place Aug. 15-29.
