* We are looking for people to serve in full-time Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) positions starting July 2015 in Wichita, Newton and Lawrence. These positions require a one-year commitment. VISTA is an AmeriCorps national service program. We have full-time opportunities in positions such as volunteer coordinator, project assistant, and development assistant in social service, education and public health organizations, just to a name a few. * If you have a rental locker in the Heskett Center, the clear-out date is Wednesday, May 13. Please clean out your locker and let the Guest Services desk know it is cleared.
* The Graduate School office is moving to its temporary summer location in 223 Grace Wilkie Hall, and will reopen for normal business hours from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. beginning Monday, May 18. Until then, Graduate School staff are available at the Registrar's enrollment window to answer questions and the main phone line and accept hand-delivered mail.
* Celebrate the end of the school year with friends and the Wichita Force at Intrust Bank Arena on Saturday, May 16 and 23, with a special student discount offer starting at $9. Kickoff is at 7:05 p.m. for each game. Students must present a valid WSU ID at the Intrust Bank Arena box office or use promo code "FSI001" online to receive the promotional offer. * For noninternational students who purchased the UHCSR Student Health Insurance for the spring 2015 semester and want to have this coverage during the summer, go to https://www.uhcsr.com/wichita and purchase your summer coverage. The open enrollment dates are May 1-June 1. You do not have to enroll in summer courses, but you must have purchased the insurance for the spring semester.
