Last month, the Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID), made up of a username and password, replaced the Federal Student Aid PIN. Students, parents and borrowers will use the new FSA ID to access certain U.S. Department of Education websites like http://www.FAFSA.gov, http://www.StudentLoans.gov and http://www.NSLDS.ed.gov. The FSA ID will be used to confirm your identity when accessing your financial aid information and electronically signing your Federal Student Aid documents.
