* WSU is limited on the number of submissions for the U.S. Department of Education First in the World grant competition. If you are interested in applying to this program, you must notify the Office of Research by 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, via proposals@wichita.edu.

* Wichita Medical Research and Education Foundation has announced a collaborative investigator-initiated research funding opportunity for up to two $15,000 one-year research grants. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3774 for details. The deadline for letter of intent submission is Monday, June 1. Notification of successful letter of intent will occur no later than June 15.

* If you would like to receive printed open enrollment materials, including plan changes and new rates for 2016, go the State Employee Health Plan's website at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/OEmaterials. To receive your printed materials, you must complete the required fields by Friday, June 26. Open enrollment materials will also be posted online at http://www.kdheks.gov/hcf/sehp.htm

* The Office of Academic Affairs has relocated to 203 Grace Wilkie Hall because of the renovation of office space in Morrison Hall. Academic Affairs expects to return to Morrison Hall the first week in August.

* The university's shuttle bus system is on hiatus for the spring and summer, but city buses will continue to make regular stops on campus during the summer.
