Other speakers included Tim Craft, Koch Global Trading Center director; and Steve Arnold, associate dean for the College of Health Professions, who shared about the impact Allegro and Via Christi Health, respectively, has made with their generosity.
David and Rynthia Mitchell were celebrated as the 2015 Fairmount Founders' Award recipients. Marilyn Pauly, WSU Foundation Board of Directors chair, praised the Mitchells for their generous donations, their volunteer time and their entrepreneurial spirit.
Tom Winters, WSU Board of Trustees chair, presented Karen Countryman-Roswurm the 2015 Board of Trustees' Award for strengthening the partnership between WSU and the Wichita community, Kansas and beyond by dedicating her life to educating people about the anti-trafficking movement.

The WSU Jazz Combo, comprised of WSU students and faculty, performed two numbers that kept guests tapping their feet.
