WSU faculty and staff are encouraged to submit a proposal for a presentation or workshop to the Michael Tilford Conference on Diversity and Multiculturalism. Named after WSU's own Michael Tilford, the conference provides an opportunity for faculty, staff and administrators of Kansas Board of Regents institutions to share ideas and resources for building culturally competent campus communities. The 2015 conference theme is "Culturally Responsive Strategies to Champion Diversity." The conference will be held Monday, Oct. 19, and Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Pittsburg State University.
