WSU students, faculty and staff are invited to attend a candlelight vigil at 5 p.m. Friday, June 5, on the east patio of the Rhatigan Student Center to commemorate Wichita State student Abduljaleel Alarbash. This event will be held in honor of a fellow student of our university who was killed in a terrorist bombing in Saudi Arabia last week. While largely a nonreligious event, it will include statements from Muslim students and a recitation of the Quran to acknowledge Alarbash's Islamic faith. The event is organized by the WSU Muslim Student Association.
