* The Office of Admissions will be closed for professional development and training on Wednesday, June 10. The office will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday, June 11.
* A search chair/committee training class will cover the benefit-eligible hiring process, including completion of the AA01 documentation, and the roles and responsibilities of the search chair, search committee members and hiring manager. It is a great learning tool for anyone who serves as a search chair, or anyone wanting to learn more about the hiring process as a hiring manager, potential search chair member or administrative support. Training sessions start on Monday, June 15. To register, select myTraining under the Faculty/Staff tab in myWSU.
* Faculty and staff are invited to join President Bardo and his executive team for ice cream from 3-4:30 p.m. Friday, June 12, in the Bluestem Lounge on the first floor of the Rhatigan Student Center.
* The Office of Research's "Animals, People and Export, Oh My!" workshop will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 11, in 266 RSC. Topics will include Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), Institutional Review Board (IRB), Export Compliance and Conflict of Interest Policies.
