If you have a telescope and haven't quite figured out how to get the most out of it yet, you are in luck. Lake Afton Public Observatory and the Kansas Astronomical Observers (KAO) invite you to bring your telescope to the observatory for one or more of their Bring Your Own Telescope evenings this summer.

There is no charge for the Bring Your Own Telescope program, however, if you would also like to attend the observatory's evening program and take in their interesting exhibits, regular admission charges will apply.

KAO and Lake Afton Public Observatory will host Bring Your Own Telescope evenings on the third Friday of each month now through August. Upcoming programs will be offered at 9 p.m. Friday, June 19, Friday, July 17, and Friday, Aug. 21.
