Monday's rainstorm has affected a number of buildings on the WSU campus. The most notable challenge right now is restoring power in the RSC. As of 8 a.m. today (Tuesday, July 7) power was still off in most of the north half of the building. Several other buildings experienced varying degrees of damage, still to be determined. Flooded basements and wet carpets appear to be the main problem in several buildings. Roof leaks in McKinley Hall caused wet ceiling tiles. Work continues on restoring power in the RSC, assessing damage and continuing with general clean up.
