* Learn how big data can lead to a cure for cancer. Wichita-based Dragon Master Foundation will host a presentation about their cause at 9:30 a.m. today (Thursday, July 16) in 233 RSC. Dragon Master Foundation strives to develop and implement tools and technology to empower brain cancer researchers to collaborate more effectively, and to encourage that collaboration to find a path to the cure. Stop in for a presentation, door prizes and light refreshments.

* All untenured faculty are invited to join the next Pre-Tenure Club meeting at 1 p.m. today (Thursday, July 16) in 326 Clinton Hall. We will discuss early career issues. Questions or RSVP to gergana.markova@wichita.edu.

* The Office of Human Resources will present this summer's Wage & Hour Training class from 2:30-4:30 p.m. today (Thursday, July 16) in 266 RSC. This class is designed for supervisors and is highly beneficial for timekeepers, but anyone is encouraged to attend.

* WSU Housing and Residence Life is seeking volunteers to assist with move-in from 8 a.m.-noon Friday, Aug. 14, and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15. Volunteers will be provided with a T-shirt to wear while supplies last. Groups and individuals will need to check in upon arrival. Location of check-in will be communicated closer to the date. * The Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes is offering Rent-A-Lane from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. every Saturday this summer. For $12 per hour, you receive one lane for up to six people; rental shoes are included. Availability may vary due to events and group reservations.
