* It is that time again. Convocation volunteer sign-up begins now. Join us for the fall tradition as students, faculty and staff come together as a community and represent our Shocker Pride on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Assignments fill quickly, so sign up soon. * Join Melissa Schultz from the Counseling & Testing Center and learn how to build relaxation time into your life. You will be led in meditation, mindfulness and relaxation practices that you can do on your own. A workshop for faculty, staff and students will be held from 2-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, in 264 RSC. You may drop in at no cost -- no reservation required. * The Office of the Registrar will be closed for staff development on Thursday, July 23.

* If you are looking for student help for on-campus regular or on-campus work-study positions, register for the Career Development Center's On-Campus Job Fair from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, July 30, on the second floor of the RSC. * WSU Housing and Residence Life is seeking volunteers to assist with move-in from 8 a.m.-noon Friday, Aug. 14, and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15. Volunteers will be provided with a T-shirt to wear while supplies last. Groups and individuals will need to check in upon arrival. Location of check-in will be communicated closer to the date. * The Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes is offering Rent-A-Lane from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. every Saturday this summer. For $12 per hour, you receive one lane for up to six people; rental shoes are included. Availability may vary due to events and group reservations.
